I’m an artist and researcher based in east London, currently studying MA Fine Art at Chelsea College of Arts with the support of the Sir Frank Bowling Scholarship.
Through sculptural installation, photography and relational practice, I look at how the material things around us shape ideas about class, mental health and normality. I’m interested in the quiet ways objects express cultural expectations, and how they can reveal the systems that classify certain minds and bodies as deficient.
Across my practice, objects function both as evidence of social structures and as tools for rethinking them. By placing familiar materials in new arrangements or contexts, I explore how they carry assumptions about value, aspiration and identity, and how they might also create space for new ways of being.
